Why Keto Bar?
Surely many of you are asking yourselves: Why bars? What prompted Be Levels to launch this new product? The answer is quick: because of you . “ Many people were waiting for us to enter their pantries with a product that respected our values: focusing on the best raw materials and their correct dosage. We always insist that food is one of the pillars of people's health, and we clearly saw the need to create a product that is part of this and that is ideal for our #belevels to enjoy in their daily lives ,” explains our Co-CEO, Javier Echanove.
Therefore, taking your requests into consideration, we accepted the challenge, although the process, in this case, was not as rapid; it took more than 24 months to develop . " That's what happens when you want to do something new, different, and something no one is used to ," Javier points out.
But the goal was clear from the start: to achieve the right proportion of high fat and protein , while maintaining a crunchy eating experience. “ We achieved this by providing up to 40% of the bar's content in chunks of the highest-quality nuts and adding small protein chips. And, in addition, there was extensive work to identify the right sugar-free chocolate coating and a titanic effort to achieve a rich flavor with a very controlled sweetness ,” says Jon Prada, Co-CEO of Be levels. And that's how we present it, as the most authentic Keto bar on the market!
Two flavors, two nuts
It's well known that the combination of hazelnut and chocolate has a long and well-known history. The market is full of alternatives, but most of them have overused ingredients that are unhealthy. At Be Levels, we wanted to create
our own version of this classic.
We didn't settle for the most common chocolates on the market and invested several thousand euros in a very specific one that perfectly manages to generate the sensation we were looking for when you bite into the bar. Throughout this long but motivating process, we took care of even the smallest details, which is why we used, among other ingredients,
Himalayan pink salt instead of traditional salt. And the icing on the cake is a
more personal touch by combining
pistachios with white chocolate . “
We did it this way because it's our favorite combination, using one of nature's finest nuts and a coating with a milder flavor that allows you to enjoy the pistachio flavor ,” explains Rocío Périz, Co-Founder of Be levels and Integrative Nutritionist.
